Dogs, Cats & Other Animals

Although our marketplace is focused primarily on dogs, we recognize that many animal-lovers have other types of pets at home too. To reflect this, there are three 'Add My Pet' templates to make it easy to share your pet information.

Your pet profiles will NOT be made public, but if you make a booking request or enquiry with a sitter, that sitter will be able to see your pets under your Pet Guardian profile . This helps sitters to learn more about your dogs and other animals in your home.

Please note, that while we currently only offer marketplace bookings for dogs, you are welcome to make a note in your booking request if there are additional pet care services that you would like to ask if the sitter is willing to take on (e.g. feed the fish).

How to set up your Pet Profile(s)

1 - Click on the 'Add My ...' button for the type of pet you want to add

2 - Please title your listing as "My Dog [Dog's Name]" (or My Cat, or My Hedgehog, etc as appropriate)

3 - Use the description field to tell us a little bit about your pet in your own words.

5 - Work through the rest of the templated prompts to give us a bit of information about your pet's size, character, and needs.  Don't worry, we know lots of aspects to your dog change with time, so when you start a booking for a sitter, you will have the chance to confirm attributes that are important to their care at that time.

6 - Upload at least one photo of your pet.  You are not able to publish your Pet Profile listing without at least one photo.  Please note that images can't be repositioned within the platform, so we kindly ask that you crop them to ensure they fit before you upload them.

7 - You're all set!  Unless you have more than one pet (you lucky-ducky!), in which case please repeat steps 1-6 until all your pets have their profiles set-up.
